on society and freedom....

Why do we find it so necessary to stick with whatever is said by a society with rules made by the society... for the society to run itself??
Rather than the constitutional ones.... it is these unspoken laws of society that could be at the core of the disquiet that we all face...
Who said that a child should start school when they are.. say 5..... and be done by say... 18.....
Why do we,... (by default)... go to college after that... and then a job.... and then... the list goes on...

Even during our 'imposed' studies.. why do choose 'such & such' subjects.
Isn't the whole purpose of school education??
How does learning ever begin or end??
ask anyone with some amount of sense and experience and they'll tell you that of what they've learnt from life... a mere fraction comes from the books.... the vast ocean of experience that you get....during your life...... isnt that the true learning?
you learn throughout your life.... beginning the moment you were born... and ending only the moment you leave this world..... and if some theories are to be believed... learning is not even restricted to that... you learn even before you are born... and it continues after death...

then why is it that 'some kinds' of learning... 'some kinds' of information are more 'valued' than others. why is it that a B.Tech/B.E graduate is 'by default' considered better than a technician of the same or even superior skill.... but without the degree... the technician might actually have a better aptitude for true engineering... but the graduate with his 'degree' is considered superior.... why??
Why is it that someone is not given the freedom to choose what he/she wants to learn??
after all... it's he who is to benefit, he whose mind would store... and he himself who is going to actually put the 'learning' to use.
by choosing what young children learn, are we not limiting the potential of their imaginations and creativity by filling their untainted minds with our preconceived notions??.... moreover, by choosing what they learn... dont we take away the basic freedom that should be afforded to any human being?:
"the freedom to decide what to do with your own life"....

on marks.. money and minds....

Why is it that in this country of ours, the 'grades' have such an impact on your life??
How can a bunch of numbers change the way people view you ?.... The way people react... it would seem the very purpose of your existance is to score well... If you don't....well... then you're worthless...
WHY??? HOW??
how can your academic performance decide your worth?? This isnt a game.... The best score can NOT decide the best!... it's how you went about achieving that score that matters isnt it??
Why is it that humans have such a tendancy to be so judgemental based on some numbers and figures??
The whole purpose of your life is so that you can be happy with what you do... right?? So why is it even necessary to judge others..... or even to judge yourself for that matter...??
Why this clash of egoes that make you derive pleasure out of someone else's failure??.. why is it that we compare so much?? WHy do we compare ourselves with others... objects, people, places.... nothing escapes it...
.... It's just a manifestation of the bloated egos that we all carry around with us...... beneath all the facades and lies we humans are all probably just amalgam of arrogance, greed and ego....
If not... WHY DO WE COMPARE SO MUCH????
you drive a nano.... i drive a lambo ... so i'm way more superior..... you wear some crap brand... I wear armani....I'm superior.... why..... why.. WHY???
vehicles will get you from A to B.... and clothes just cover you up... why does it matter ??
Why do we find it so necessary to prove our superiority??? and HOW DOES MONEY MAKE YOU SUPERIOR????

When all is said and done..... isnt money just another piece of paper to which WE humans assigned a FALSE value, so that WE could satisfy our FALSE pride, so that WE could assert our FALSE superiority over others, whose own hurt egoes make them do the same to someone less fortunate...
All we ended up doing... was to start of an endless chain.... eventually trapping the whole world in some sort of vicious circle of avarice and pride.
Can't some just LET GO??? wont just one broken link BREAK THE CHAIN????
I fear not..... cause what started as a chain has mutated to a web..... a web that's slowly... but surely choking us all.....
Money... it can't be good....almost EVERY evil you can think of that's happening in the world now..... can be traced back to money or our own egoes. True.. without it... the whole economy wouldn't run...... society sees money as the 'lubricant' that makes it move.... But even the need for an economy.... or even that for a society is debatable isnt it...??

The world seldom turns out how you expect it to.... Destiny's got this annoying habit of toying with your life.... twisting the paths you travel by... beyond even your wildest imagination.
The last two years of my life was probaly the best example.....those were'nt exactly the best of times..... can't help but think that there could be,..... will be,... others like me.... and honestly ...what i went through...its not something i'd wish upon my worst enemies.......its about time things changed...
